It is evident that Mr Broomes presence at the Alexandra school causes disharmony amongst some of the staff and some of his practices are non traditional and unwanted. In order that children can thrive in an environment conducive to learning, distractions such as differing personalities need to be 'checked at the door' . There is no place for such distractions in the school environment. As adults, we need to teach our charges not only academically but also by example. Those are the qualities of a good leader. Those required by a Principal. He/She should be responsible to the kids first and the staff second. I feel that Mr Broomes services are well suited somewhere within the education system but not as Principal. Somewhere where his input is valuable and where the democratic process thrive and is well.

Sincerely
