Booster pump at the Hampton Pumping Station burnt – Barbados Water Authority mending Christ Church areas
The Barbados Water Authority informs residents of some Christ Church areas suffering water outages or low pressure today Thursday 6th September that last night a booster pump at the Hampton Pumping Station burnt.
This has in turn affected the supply of water to the Rising Sun Reservoir in Christ Church which feeds customers in the areas of Newton, Wotton, Kingsland, Vauxhall, Kendall Hill and surrounding districts.

The completion of repairs to bursts in Amity Lodge and Waldron Village, Christ Church continues today along with investigation into a suspected burst in Archer’s Bay, St. Lucy.
The Authority is working to repair the problem and has made adjustments to its network to reduce the number of areas impacted. Water tankers have also been despatched to service the affected customers in the interim.
