New Sweet Soca Semifinalists announced by NCF for Pork Lime
Following two days of judging by a new panel of judges and auditing by Price Waterhouse Coopers SRL, The National Cultural Foundation (NCF) has announced the list of 2012 Sweet Soca Semifinalists who will compete on Friday 6th July at 8:30 p.m. during the Pork Lime at Wildey, when the Semifinal stage of the competition takes place before a live audience for the first time.
The Judging session was witnessed by a team of independent observers selected by the various calypsonians and tent managers and this adjudication process was observed by the Arbiter.

There was a tie for 16th place and as stated in the rules all seventeen persons will compete and there will be no reserve.
The list of semifinalists, who will be vying for a place in the final seven, to compete in the Finals against Red Plastic Bag in alphabetical order are:
