Former Governor General Sir Clifford Husbands paid tribute by the Royal Commonwealth Society
The Barbados Branch of the Royal Commonwealth Society celebrated the distinguished service of His Excellency Sir Clifford Husbands, GCMG, KA at a special Reception at Ben Mar, the Residence of the British High Commissioner.
The intricate reception held many musical interludes as well as a presentation to Sir Clifford from the Governor General on behalf of the Royal Commonwealth Society.
Governor General His Excellency Sir Elliott Belgrave and Lady Belgrave joined in with other members of the Society, Government officials and leading members of Barbados society at the event.
The elaborate ceremony offered quite a few operatic moments as well as a presentation to Sir Clifford from the Governor General on behalf of the Royal Commonwealth Society.
