BVI Performer ‘Sowande’ Releases his Debut Single “I Wanna Fly” for Global Distribution
Writer, poet, lecturer and activist, Sowande has released his debut single titled “I Wanna Fly.” According to Sowande, “I Wanna Fly” deals with wanting to escape all the negativity around him and hopefully can serve as a source of upliftment to every listener.
“Fly from this wickedness/ Fly from this poverty/ Fly to a place where no suffering can follow me/ No murder, no robbery/ No unfair policies/ No prison cells/ No Babylon to bother me” brings you an excerpt of the Sowande’s lyrics.
Accompanied by and produced by Lincoln Ward, “I Wanna Fly” by Sowande is expected to hit the local, regional and international airwaves very soon. A music video is also being planned for the near future along with more singles from Sowande.
