FINAL NAIL IN THE COFFIN OF THE HMONG PEOPLE OF LAOS
Below is the latest correspondence sent to Damon Corrie from President James Her of the Congress of World Hmong People.

The US, UN and UNHCR have condemned Thai Government to halt the deportation, but Thai government refused to comply.
Damon had met President Her and 3 other senior Hmong leaders at the United Nations Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues (UNPFII) in April 2008 at United Nations Headquarters in New York – and had drafted a petition of solidarity for the Hmong cause and circulated it widely at the UN where it was strongly supported.
It is a heart breaking situation for all the Hmong People around the world. Thai Government is doing the Lao PDR a favor. Many Hmong leaders in both Hoy Namkhao camp and Nongkhai Detention Center were escapees from Lao PDR persecution that had sought asylum in Thailand.
The group of 158 people in Nongkhai have been accepted as Refugees.
Many of these people have scars to prove of bullet wounds from Lao PDR’s military policy of extermination.
