F.Y.I – CO Williams Road Work at Ellerton, St. George
The C.O. Williams Construction Team will be doing extensive rehabilitation work commencing Wednesday 03 June 2009 on the section of the roadway in St George from the Turnpike junction to the turn-off in Ellerton to Eastlyn on Highway 4.As a result no traffic will be permitted through this section except for those persons who reside in the effected area and who will be identified by a special sticker.
Only emergency vehicles will be permitted through this section during the working day 7.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m.
The paving on the entire section of road between Soil Conservation and Lakes Road has been reopened. Work continues however between the gas station and Lakes where the short detour remains in place at Belleplaine.
Extensive drainage work on Highway 5 continues east of Boarded Hall from the four cross road at Windsor to Campaign Castle (just before Little Bentley?s) and traffic has been reduced to single lane at times, so delays can be expected.
