Garrison Fireworks celebrating Barbados’ 42nd birthday scares Black Male Dog silly into Hastings: HOPE SANCTUARY/SHAMELESS PLUG
Last year, there were fireworks all over the island for welcoming the then New year and they scared my cats into beyond silly… Last night, I heard the Independence fireworks display from the Garrison clear over here in Strathclyde – imagine what it must have been like for skittish pets closer to the action?
According to the Hope Sanctuary, one dog was terrified and ran away, so people need to remember if their pets are scared of loud noises to secure them and reassure them -
Male dog found on Sun 30 at 1.15 am (just after the Firework Display) in Rhylstone (behind Hastings Plaza) in Christ Church Large Male dog, perhaps a Lab/Retriever cross??
In very good condition, wearing a collar.
