ANY ACCIDENT IN BARBADOS LACKS PROPER SUPPORT NOW – Urgent request from the QEH

Received an e-mail from one of Barbados’ film-makers, they were very worried after receiving this e-mail…

Dear Members,

I was contacted by a representative of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital and asked to send out an urgent appeal for blood. The reserves of the blood bank are dangerously low and it was said “if there was a bad accident today the blood bank could not deal with it“.

For all those who are regular blood donors, I ask that you attend and donate blood today to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital today and for those who have never done it I urge you to contribute.
